Summer

 Whew! Summer came and went in the blink of an eye! Here are the highlights of Dryden Summer 2012:

June

• James was promoted from bakery clerk to bakery MANAGER! The pay raise has definitely been helpful, and the hours are better (5 a.m. instead of 1:30 a.m. or 3:30 a.m.--you'd be surprised how big of a difference those few extra hours of sleep make), but it's also more work for James. He's been handling it like a champ though. I love him!
• Food show in SLC. Less than a week after James was promoted, we were invited (required) to attend the Associated Foods food show in downtown Salt Lake City. The company paid for our hotel, our admission to the show, and a nice dinner at Little America. James walked around and got ideas for his bakery, I walked around and ate samples. For free!
• We left directly from SLC to Jerome, ID for Granny and Grandpa's to spend time with family and have a good time. I didn't take any pictures...
• The annual Eddington family reunion. We were only able to be there for one evening and then the last day, but it was worth it to see everyone.

(All of this happened in the last 2 1/2 weeks of June. Busy, but awesome!)

July

•  We moved into our HOUSE the first week of July. See this and this if you would like a gander at our new abode. Thanks to everyone who helped us move!
• Nothing else happened.

August

Shortly after this picture was taken, cute little Adalynn received her first bee sting on her bare foot. This was where camping trip ended.

September

• To celebrate James' first paid holiday (Labor day) we went camping again with some of the Drydens again:

We climbed to the top of this...I don't know what it was called. All I know is there was no trail and my father-in-law is a mountain goat. The view was worth the work though. Looking over Franklin county, ID.

After our hike and lunch, James and his "little" brother Aaron (Who will be leaving on his mission to Berlin in October!) rode their bikes back to our campsite.

Now we're back to "real life"--James is back in school and working full-time and I'm still working everyday 8:00 to 5:00. It's busy, but life is good! Now on to more adventures! Thanks for reading!
